Cruise: Board the Lady of the Lake in Lake Chelan and settle in for a fifty-and-a-half-mile glide through wintry waters and snowcapped hillsides. A snowy Stehekin wilderness welcomes you to discover absolute solitude during the shoulder season. Enjoy warm coffee and homemade treats while exploring acres of organic beauty. Extend the magic by staying overnight to witness the brightest star-filled sky east of the big city.
Scenic drives: Once you’ve thoroughly enjoyed our small town charm, travel beyond our downtown sanctuary for a trip through the trees. Scenic drives are abundant around the valley.
Echo Ridge Nordic Ski Area & Trails. Pack your cross country skis, and snowshoes to pursue Lake Chelan’s heights and freshest air. Climb to the clouds with groomed trails and the sun on your back. Don’t forget the gloves—and the shades!
Echo Valley Ski & Tubing Area. Break the mundane and satisfy that pent up energy with a day of downhill skiing, snowboarding, or tubing at Lake Chelan’s snow season hub. Whether it’s a slide down the bunny hill, or a race down the mountain—Echo has just the exhilaration you’re craving.
Enjoying snowmobiling above Lake Chelan. There are groomed trail systems with huts on the hills above the lake on both sides. You can access the trails from your choice of five Sno-Parks.
