Snowmobile Trails: Chelan County, Washington
This map of snowmobile trails in Chelan County and part of Okanogan County, Washington was designed for use on Avenza and is updated annually to show seasonal and temporary closures and changes to groomed routes. It has all of the groomed snowmobile trails, designated ungroomed routes, trail access/Sno-Parks and winter facilities in the county. The map also shows 4x4 and other summer trails to assist in off-line navigation, and public lands are color coded to show where users can ride off-road/trail, where they must stay on trail and areas where snowmobiles are not allowed. Snowmobile trail systems on this map include trails east of Lake Chelan served by Antilon Lake, South Fork Gold Creek and Black Canyon Sno-Parks; trails west of Lake Chelan served by Entiat River and 25 Mile Creek Sno-Parks; and the Lake Wenatchee system served by Lake Wenatchee Air Strip, Fish Lake, Eagle Creek and Mad River Sno-Park. In Okanogan County, the map includes the trail system out of Poorman Creek and Twisp River Sno-Parks. The map also snows Nordic/snowshoe trail systems but is not optimized for those activities. The map is 22x40” at a scale of 1:110,000.
